Kyle Gero, PTA

Kyle is our PTA who serves the Northeast area of Columbia. Kyle received an associate of Science degree from University of South Carolina Sumter in 2011 and then graduated from the University of South Carolina Columbia with a Bachelor in Exercise Science 2013. He later received an Associate in Applied Science with a Major in Physical Therapist Assistant 2018 from Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College.

We are excited to have Kyle join the team at Sprout Pediatrics as he excelled and received the top graduate award for all students within the health sciences at OC Tech. He particularly enjoyed the Pediatric and Neurological conditions class he took at OC Tech.

Kyle shares he became interested in physical therapy “when I tore my ACL playing junior college soccer and had to go through 12 months of rehab myself. From there I just developed a passion for working in the field spending time working as a rehab technician in both inpatient and outpatient settings.” He adds, “I’ve always enjoyed coaching and teaching and I get to do that as a pediatric therapist. I love physical therapy and I really enjoy working with kids. Sprout allows me to incorporate both into one, and everyone at Sprout has been welcoming and helpful.”

Kyle has been married to Darcy for 5+ years, and they have a son, Bryant and a daughter, Aria. He loves spending time with his family, watching sports, and playing soccer.
